Adeona PIM is feature-rich, including AI features built to help with product enrichment and translations, and the ability to create automated attribute content. In Adeona PIM, you can even define JavaScript logic for automatically generating attribute values (dynamic attributes). Of course, the product hierarchy, categories, attributes, and integrations are easily and completely configurable by the customer. Below are some of the great features of our product.

Product structures and attributes
In Adeona PIM, product data can be inherited directly to product variants, which also enables optional inheritance, meaning that some variants can have product information inherited from the parent product and some unique. When attributes are not tied only to the parent product or variants, it provides a more agile product data model maintenance and facilitates data enrichment.
You can also set file and category-specific attributes for the schema without restrictions. This allows for attributes that are just right for different types of categories and files. You can also organize products within categories in any way you want and define what the main or secondary category of a product is, for example, for the breadcrumb trail on websites. Adeona PIM even has the option of virtual categories, which means that you can copy an existing category with its products to another place in the hierarchy, and when you make changes to the actual category or its products, they will also be visible in the virtual category and products.
Image: Schemas can be inherited and each attribute can be specified, for example, whether it is mandatory or whether its data is always inherited by variants or only if no value is set for the variant. Attributes can be tagged per schema, allowing them to be dynamically exported to publishing channels.
Adeona PIM offers comprehensive configuration of attributes: for example, the system can give attributes a so-called second ID, i.e. an identifier that can be used to identify the attribute. This often makes it easier to combine data in integration, for example, when the target system's identifiers can be used as a secondary identifier. The publishing channel can also be utilized even at the attribute level, which allows the user to define which attributes to export to which publishing channel if necessary.
In addition to traditional article and assortment products (parent product and variants), Adeona PIM also has a bundle product type, i.e. a product that contains several other products. This is typically a display-type product, which can include, for example, different colored nail polishes and their stands.
Mass product modifications
Bulk editing of products is easy directly from the filtered product view. You can select any attribute or other property and update it for all products at once. In Adeona PIM you can also copy products including all their properties, making it easy to create similar products.
Schemas
In Adeona PIM, product families are called product schemas. These determine which attributes are displayed on products. Schemas can also be inherited, meaning you can set common attributes for all products, for example, to a Master schema, and other schemas can inherit these attributes. This way, you don't have to add new attributes to each schema and maintenance work is made easier. Schemas can be inherited at several levels, meaning a product can have a “grandfather schema”, a “mother schema” and a “child schema”, where only certain lowest-level attributes are maintained, for example, the product's ETIM information.
Dashboard, search functionality and enrichment rate indicators
The search features for products and files are comprehensive. For example, the search allows for a mass search for products, where the user can enter, for example, the GTIN codes of the products they want and the search returns a listing of these products. More advanced users can use the search query language to create even complex search phrases directly in the user interface.

The dashboard and enrichment rate meters are customizable by the user. This allows the user to monitor, for example, the production status of products published on Amazon and the status of images and files on their own dashboard.

Images and files
Adona PIM also has a file manager for storing and distributing images and files as standard. There are standard conversions for files for different purposes, and you can easily create more as needed. You can import attributes for files in the same way as for products, and you can see the history of each file, so you can view previous versions of a product image if you want. You can also add hotspots to your images if you want to highlight different products and features in the milieu image.

Linking images and files is automated and can be done in several ways. Linking can be done using product attributes (for example, brand or intended use), file naming (using product code/GTIN or simply numbering) or the image can be linked directly to a select attribute value. This saves a lot of work time as images and files do not need to be added to products manually.

Comprehensive user rights management features
Adeona PIM always includes very comprehensive user management options. You can restrict users' read or write permissions even at the file or product level if you wish, and also choose which languages they have access to. In addition, you can define on an attribute-by-attribute basis what users of the data can see or edit. Adeona PIM also has an approval process for product edits, which means that you can only give certain users permissions to approve changes made to products.
