The intention is to develop Smart Export feature into Adeona PIM, i.e. a more efficient way to convey product information. With Smart Export, product data can be exported from Adeona PIM directly to an Excel template specified by the customer, retailer or other partner.
In addition, through the Smart Export feature, it is possible to generate Excel export files automatically and on a schedule to an SFTP transfer folder, from which the specified partners can extract the data to be exported to their own system.
How does Smart Export work?
Smart Export's operating principle is as follows:
- The desired product selection can be limited using Adeona PIM filters: select, for example, all active products that have the eCom channel selected.
- After that, the Excel template used by the partner is loaded into Adeona PIM and it is determined which PIM attributes are exported to each column. Data conversions are also possible, for example changing weight from grams to kilograms.
- Timing and storage location are defined for the Smart Export template, if Excel templates are to be made available to partners in a scheduled manner. Smart Export supports files in Excel format.
You can participate with a shared investment model and speed up product development!
Since many of our customers have expressed a need for the functionality described above, we offer the opportunity to speed up product development using a shared investment model. If we get customers to participate in the product development investment, the Smart Export functionality can be implemented and published in an accelerated schedule.
Customers participating in the product development investment get the functionality for the agreed period free of charge and can influence the functionality of Smart Export. For other customers, the feature is chargeable. You can get more detailed information from your customer representative.
Why should you participate in the development of Smart Export?
A company can benefit in several ways by participating in the development of Smart Export. In this case, there is an opportunity to influence the design of the functionalities. If you wish, you can also participate in the planning of use cases and user interface functions within the defined limits. However, it is worth keeping in mind that the development project implements a standard feature and not a completely customized solution.
Customer companies participating in the development can use the Smart Export feature quickly and free of charge for the agreed period. After the free period, the monthly price is based on the software price list and usage.
The feature will be further developed by Adeona's product development even after the release as part of Adeona's normal product development process.
