- Compatibility with different systems and interfaces
Digital Product Passport (DPP) — a natural part of your product data
The EU’s Digital Product Passport requirements demand increasingly detailed and structured product information covering the entire lifecycle. In Adeona PIM, the data required for DPP is modeled as an integral part of the product: materials, components, origin information, sustainability claims, and related documents are all brought together in one place in a consistent structure.
With DPP data centrally managed in PIM, it can be distributed flexibly for different purposes — to websites, regulatory interfaces, QR codes, or partner systems. Changes always update from a single source, reducing manual work and minimizing error risk.
Transparent verification of raw material information and specifications for food products
The food industry faces strict requirements around raw material attributes and origin information, and data must be verifiable by both authorities and consumers. In Adeona PIM, raw materials can be modeled as their own data entities, with detailed raw material specifications attached — including composition, allergen information, nutritional values, and quality criteria.
Adeona Specification Service enables automatic review and management of raw material specifications as part of the product data process. Specifications submitted by raw material suppliers can be validated against predefined rules and requirements before being approved for use.
A scalable sustainability data model built for future requirements
Sustainability requirements are constantly evolving. Adeona PIM’s flexible data model makes it possible to add new sustainability-related data fields, metrics, and classifications without heavy system changes. The data model can be maintained and configured by users themselves, and new fields are immediately available to other systems via Adeona’s API.
Companies can start with basic data — such as carbon footprint information — and expand the model later to cover recyclability, material compositions, or additional supply chain data. The same sustainability data model can be used across multiple publishing channels and use cases, enabling efficient scaling of sustainability information.
Certificates and sustainability labels built into the product model
Environmental marks, quality certifications, and other sustainability labels can all be managed in Adeona PIM as part of your sustainability data model.
By linking certificates and symbols directly to products, Adeona PIM automatically controls which labels can be displayed for each product and in which channels — preventing outdated or incorrect sustainability claims from reaching customers, and ensuring only current, verified labels are shown.
